Dr. Blaise Callan

Dr. Blaise Callan grew up in Calgary. She completed her undergraduate degree in 2012 at the University of Calgary but went abroad for her Veterinary degree. She graduated as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Veterinary Medicine in Kosice Slovakia in 2016. She worked for 5 years in the UK in small animal practice before returning home to Canada. Her professional interests include dermatology and dentistry and she has a special place in her heart for shelter medicine. Dr. Blaise has worked in shelters in Nepal, Nicaragua and Thailand, she even adopted a very special little dog from Nepal who lives with her now. Dr. Blaise spends her free time riding horses and hiking in the mountains with her dogs. She also enjoys yoga, rock climbing and snowboarding.
