Katie Frost

Registered Veterinary Technologist

Katie is a Registered Veterinary Technologist, who graduated from Olds College in 2015. She adored animals as a child and was fortunate to have several pets in the house growing up, leading to her interest in the animal health field.

Katie really enjoys anesthesia and assisting in surgery, as well as emergency medicine. The best part of her job is being able to build client relationships and helping with their furry companions. When she is not at work, she enjoys riding her horse Kit, skiing, hiking, backcountry camping, and spending time with her furry friends, Carrie, Willow, and Butters the cat.

COVID-19 ALERT

Southpointe Pet Hospital is committed to doing our part in protecting our community from the spread of COVID-19. To allow us to continue operating during the pandemic, we have implemented a CLOSED DOOR POLICY.

For the safety of our staff, clients and our entire community, ONLY ONE CLIENT WILL BE ALLOWED TO ACCOMPANY THEIR PET INTO THE BUILDING AT A TIME, and A MASK MUST BE WORN TO ENTER.

When you arrive in our parking lot, please remain in your vehicle and call (403) 532-0085. Our staff will advise you on when you can enter for your appointment, or deliver prescriptions and food orders to your vehicle. For safety reasons, please be prepared to pay with CREDIT or DEBIT, as cash will not be accepted. If you do not have a phone or if your animal is experiencing an emergency, please knock on the door to alert our staff.

As of June 29, 2020, we are resuming normal scheduling of non-urgent appointments, including annual exams, vaccinations, spays and neuters with clients present.
