Wildlife Rehabilitation

Calgary is very lucky to have two wildlife rehabilitation centers that service the city. If you find injured or abandoned wildlife please reach out either to the Calgary Wildlife Rehabilitation Society or the Alberta Institute for Wildlife conservation for guidance.

Injured and orphaned wildlife can often be dropped off at Southpointe or any of the 24-hour vet clinics in the city. Please phone ahead to ensure that the clinic will be able to aid/ accept a drop-off.

COVID-19 ALERT

Southpointe Pet Hospital is committed to doing our part in protecting our community from the spread of COVID-19. To allow us to continue operating during the pandemic, we have implemented a CLOSED DOOR POLICY effective December 10, 2020.

The details of this policy are outlined below:

Services such as nail trims will be temporarily unavailable as we focus our efforts on urgent cases. If your appointment is not of an urgent matter and can be postponed, we ask that you please reschedule to free up space for patients that need immediate attention.

Hours of Operation
Monday to Thursday: 8:00 am – 8:00 pm
Friday: 8:00 am – 6:00 pm
Saturday: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Sunday: Closed
