Trish Flormata
Having grown up on her family farm, Trish had an early start on learning how to care for a menagerie of animals. As a teen, she began working in a pet supply store and volunteering for the local cat shelter. Through fostering geriatric, palliative care, and special needs cats, she began to develop a strong interest in the veterinary field. After attending a Veterinary Assistant course at Douglas College, Trish started her decade-long career at a Cat Clinic along with an Avian and Exotic Clinic in BC.
Since joining the team at Southpointe Pet Hospital, she has fallen in love with dogs of every size and shape and has become the cool aunt to many of our staff pets. Trish has a special interest in pet nutrition (currently enrolled to be a Veterinary Nutrition Advocate), geriatric care, and customer relations.
As a focused and dedicated team member, Trish is our Lead CSR, she is the contact for the day-to-day front office operations of the hospital. Outside of clinic hours, Trish enjoys reading, attending comic conventions, and celebrating all things spooky at all times.
